Guidelines specifically tailored for remote interns at the India Gives Foundation to ensure a productive
and smooth virtual internship experience:
1. Code of Conduct
Professionalism in Communication: Maintain professionalism in all online communication,
including emails, virtual meetings, tele –Communication with officials and messaging apps (e.g.,
G-meet, WhatsApp). Be respectful and considerate in every interaction.
Punctuality for Online Meetings: Attend all virtual meetings and webinars on time without fail
if unable to attend should be informed. Be proactive in communicating any potential delays or
absences.
Virtual Etiquette: When participating in online meetings or any other training sessions, mute
your microphone when not speaking, dress appropriately, and ensure your background is
professional or use virtual backgrounds when necessary.
Regular Check-ins: Schedule regular video or phone calls with your supervisor for updates on
your work. This may be weekly, bi-weekly, or as agreed upon.
Data Security: Ensure the security of any confidential or sensitive information shared with you.
Use secure platforms for communication and document sharing.
Social Media Conduct: If you share your work experience online, ensure it aligns with the
foundation’s brand and values. Always seek permission before posting anything directly related
to India Gives Foundation projects.

Steps to Complete Internship from India Gives Foundation
Step 1: Submit an internship request by filling out the application form and paying the processing fee
at indiagivesfoundation@gmail.com

Step 2: Your internship will be confirmed based on your area of interest. If needed, you can request an
official confirmation email from the Foundation.
Step 3: Enroll in any two courses from the list provided. Apply for financial aid on COURSERA for
each course to receive a 90% or 100% scholarship. Upon course completion, obtain a shareable certificate
and submit the link to validate your certificate.
Step 4: Complete all assignments and Project within the given timeframe. Based on your selected area,
take the initiative to contribute effectively. Be curious, suggest new ideas, and offer your own advice for
change.
Step 5: Stay attentive to all WhatsApp messages or emails from the India Gives Foundation. Inactivity or
ignoring messages may result in the automatic cancellation of your internship.
Step 6: Attend all meetings, workshops, or webinars shared with you. Look for opportunities in your city
to participate in offline meetings, conferences, or workshops that align with the Foundation's mission.
Step 7: Set clear goals at the beginning of your internship to contribute meaningfully to the Foundation.
Your achievements, along with the two certificates you completed, will be recognized on your internship
certificate.
For example, if you work on awareness campaign, the outcomes and result or efforts made will be
mentioned.
Step 8: Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive your internship certificate from the
India Gives Foundation.
