2. Introduction
Millions of women in remote villages and migrant worker communities have the talent but lack the opportunity to earn a livelihood. India Gives Foundation launched the DHAGA SUI Initiative to empower women through sewing and tailoring training, enabling them to achieve:
Financial independence
Home-based income
Dignity & confidence
Support for their families
Freedom from economic vulnerability
This program provides hands-on training, tools, and market-linked skill development, helping women start home-based micro-enterprises or join tailoring units for regular income.
