India Gives Foundation has initiated an ongoing support project aimed at improving mobility and safety for elderly individuals residing in remote rural locations. Under this initiative, walking sticks are being distributed free of cost to senior citizens facing mobility challenges.
The walking sticks have enabled many elders to move with confidence, reducing risk of falls and promoting healthier daily functioning. The initiative will continue in upcoming phases to reach more beneficiaries. Over 510 destitute and old people spread across India have already been assisted under this project so far.
