“We received a distress call from a social worker that two blind boys are suffering to continue their education as well as daily livelihood. Their parents were unable to take care of them due to parent’s financial issues.
Our volunteers were able to call them and found their address and family background information of the boys and bring them to the Blind Welfare Society for counselling. Our organization wants to help them by providing a monthly ration kit and education.
IGF has been a ray of hope for 20 such blind girls and boys, many of whom have been abandoned by their families owing to their visual impairment. Sadly, the care, shelter and education for blind girls and boys come at a cost, and IGF is unable to keep its work going. Your donations can help shine the light of education upon 20 blind girls / boys and change their lives forever.
