    Meal Distribution for Roadside Destitute People

    2. Introduction

    Every day, thousands of destitute men, women, and elderly people in cities survive without proper food, shelter, or care.

    To support these vulnerable individuals, India Gives Foundation launched the “Hungry Has No Spices” Initiative — a compassionate meal distribution program dedicated to feeding:

    Roadside destitute people Homeless individuals Elderly abandoned citizens Migrant workers Rag pickers & daily-wage labour families People living under flyovers, bus stands & pavements

    Our volunteers serve fresh, hygienic, nutritious meals directly on the streets, ensuring that no one sleeps hungry.

    3. Beneficiary List (Who We Serve)

    The initiative supports:

    Homeless & roadside people Destitute elderly without family support Disabled individuals living on streets Migrant labourers stranded without income Slum-dwelling children without daily meals Women facing extreme poverty Ragpickers & waste collectors People living in temporary huts, pavements & under bridges

    Age Group: All ages — children, adults & elderly

    4. Our Requirement (What We Need for Meal Distribution)

    To run the daily and weekly meal distribution camps, we require:

    Food & Meal Support

    Cooked meals (rice, roti, sabzi, dal) Meals from restaurants / partners Packed food kits Fruits (banana, apple) Water bottles / buttermilk

    Distribution Items

    Meal containers & packing materials Disposable plates, spoons, cups Carry bags for meal kits

    Logistics & Operations

    Transport expenses (distribution vehicle/fuel) Volunteers support Cooking ingredients (rice, vegetables, pulses, oil) Hygiene materials (gloves, masks, sanitizers)

    Special Needs

    Nutrition kits for elderly Food parcels for night-time distribution

    Support can be in the form of sponsoring meals, donating raw materials, or contributing financially.

🍛 ₹50 – Sponsor one meal

🍱 ₹150 – Sponsor 3 meals

🍲 ₹500 – Sponsor 10 meals

🥘 ₹1,000 – Sponsor 20 meals

👨‍🍳 ₹2,500 – Raw materials for a cooking batch

🚌 ₹5,000 – Distribution support for one full day

🍛 ₹10,000 – Sponsor a complete meal camp for 80–100 people
